Menuju Biodiesel-B35
Kabar gembira untuk kalian para Petani atau Pengusaha Sawit. Pasalnya pemerintah sedang mencanangkan program Biodiesel yang dicanangkan oleh menteri ESDM, yaitu peralihan atau lebih tepatnya pengembangan energi BBN (Bahan Bakar Nabati) dari B30 ke B35.
Apa sih yang dimaksud dengan B30 & B35?
Kalian pasti pernah dengar tentang istilah B30 & B35. Ya, istilah tersebut kerap muncul pada halaman-halaman depan berita.
Angka-angka tersebut merupakan komposisi bahan bakar jenis biodiesel ke dalam bahan bakar minyak jenis solar yang semula 30% menjadi 35%.
Hal tersebut telah sudah mulai diterapkan per 1 Februari 2023, selain itu uji jalan B40 juga sedang dilakukan pemerintah. Ada beberapa persiapan teknis yang masih harus dilakukan pemerintah guna mencapai terlaksana nya program tersebut.
Sebenarnya program Biodiesel sudah diterapkan sejak 2008 dengan prosentase yang masih sangat minim yaitu sekitar 2,5%, yang mana angka tersebut meningkat dari tahun ke tahun sampai saat ini menjadi 35%.
Saat ini sifat dari energi Biodiesel masih sebagai campuran Bahan Bakar Minyak, belum sebagai bahan bakar utama. Dikarenakan timbulnya biaya-biaya untuk penelitian, serta hal-hal lain yang bersifat teknis maupun non-teknis, hal ini menimbulkan kesan “tidak ekonomis”.
Peralihan menjadi B35 ini berbanding lurus dengan permintaan CPO, artinya harga CPO diperkirakan akan meningkat dan memotivasi para Petani/Pengusaha Sawit untuk memproduksi sawit dengan kualitas terbaik.
